Sabbath at Road Town SDA Church was a very exceptional one. The Sabbath School Department lead out by our own Head Superintendent, Sis Jasmine Watson celebrated its Annual Investment Harvest Ingathering, the church brought different blessings that the Lord has blessed them with during the year, and these were consecrated during the Sabbath School hours.
Harvest Investment was not the only special item of the day. Road Town SDA Church also celebrated its quarterly Communion service, led out by our own Pastor Howard Simon. The Pastor presented his sermon, on the words that were stated during the last few hours of Jesus. He focused on the prayer by Jesus, in that he requested from his “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23: 34 (NIV)). He impressed the congregation to always forgive persons who have done sin against them, as Jesus did when great wickedness was done to him on that day at Calvary. With this inspiring sermon from our Pastor, he led the congregation to separate for the Feet Washing Service, where the men separated from the ladies and entered the lower sanctuary, and the ladies stayed in the main sanctuary, to perform the very solemn feet washing service.
