"Where there is unity, there is strength". This year, the Children's Division and the Pathfinders' Club unified to present a Spirit-filled service under the powerful theme: "Represnting Christ in Every Circumstance", and that they most certainly did. Through their combined efforts, the children of both departments produced a wonderful service; they truly represented Christ in their actions.
During the Sabbath School segment, each class made a presentation, showing ways in which they can represent Christ. The lesson review was facilatated by Sis. Virginia Creque, a Pathfinder staff member and parent. To culminate this segment, Adventurers Gabriella, Kalisa and Michelle raised their little voices together in singing "Brighten the Corner".
During the day's proceedings, the newest member of the Glasgow family was blessed by Pastor Howard Simon. The proud parents of the newest member of the Cradleroll class are Bro. Dexter Glasgow and Sis. Leona Gumbs Glasgow. Congratulations were extended to the family.
For the Midday Service, Pathfinder Kristi Creque vibrantly expounded the Word of God and impressed upon the hearts of the listening congregation, the blessings that one can receive by representing Christ in every circumstance.
The day's celebration continued with AY, in which Dep. Director Jerrilyn King and Instructors Niara Toney & Sarahvaughn Coteau coordinated the afternoon's programme. The programme displayed Pathfinders' knowledge of the Bible and requirements through various activities such as Bible Bowl and knot-tying.
The day's celebration ended with vespers and a prayer of consecration by Dep. Director Wade Tobin. It was a wonderful day. To God be the glory!
